New York Central 3 is looking for either a single charter
client or a group of individual passengers for a one-way trip from Portland,
Oregon to New York in mid July, 2008. Trip departure date is slightly
flexible, but is currently scheduled for around July 15 or July 21,
2008.
Return schedule can be tailored to client's desires--e.g., stop off
in Whitefish, MT for sightseeing in Glacier National Park; lay over
several days in Chicago; travel to New York on the Lake Shore Ltd.,
Capitol Ltd. or the Cardinal via the New River Gorge. Kindly note that
Amtrak advises it is NOT currently possible to travel North or South

northern Michigan resort town of Petoskey. Enjoy a unique journey on

Grove and Vista Dome. Join us as we travel to the resort town of Petoskey,
Michigan, located on scenic Traverse Bay. Our Cincinnati-based cars
will be joined in Chicago by other private cars from around the country
as we travel behind a shortline engine through Michigan. As the consist
travels through Michigan we will make several stops including a stop
at Marion for the Marion Old Fashioned Days, a 2 hour stop at Fife Lake

and then on to our destination in Petoskey with a side trip to Mackinaw

Railway Company has already established our schedule for participating
in this annual event. For those of you who have traveled on AAPRCO's
past convention trips, please be aware that the special train being
planned for this year's AAPRCO convention will cover a relatively short
distance from Los Angeles to San Pedro and return, with a possible side
trip to San Diego. Individual private cars will arrive and depart Los
Angeles independently. The Cincinnati Railway has chosen a great route
which is briefly detailed below. Pricing will be announced when AAPRCO
determines the operating plan and cost of the special train and once
reservations begin to take place. Due to the length of this trip, we

are easily accessible to the railyard to travel around town at your
leisure. Rental cars are also available in Chicago’s Union Station.

New Years Eve in New York City!

Join the Cincinnati Railway for a one-of-a-kind trip to the #1 New Years
Destination: Times Square in New York City! Board the train in either
Cincinnati or Chicago and travel with the Birch Grove Sleeper car and

pm. Disembark upon arrival and take as much of the city in as you can!
