American Rail Excursions presents its Section of
The James L. Larson Florida Special
Chicago – Washington, DC -Jacksonville – Titusville –
New Smyrna Beach – St. Augustine – Savannah - Washington - Chicago
October 30 - November 10, 2009

This is the “tour de la tour of tours”!

American Rail Excursions’ cars will travel on Amtrak's Capitol Limited between Chicago and Washington in both eastbound and westbound directions traversing the Harper’s Ferry and B&O Canal historic areas. The balance of the trip will be on the convention special train (estimated consist of 26 private cars) from Washington to Florida and Savannah, GA.

Meals are provided at usual meal times and are prepared fresh onboard by accomplished chef and served by attentive stewards. Full beverage and snack service in afternoons and in evenings after dinner is included.

Fares for this tour are $3,499 per person, double occupancy in double bedroom or $6,499 per person, single occupancy in double bedroom or $6,499 per person, double occupancy in suite.

Payments can be made in two parts, 50 % with order and the remaining 50 % by September 15, 2009. To assure the maximum enjoyment by our roundtrip passengers, we will not sell space to day riders.

Participants in this tour must be members of AAPRCO. Associate membership is $90. There will also be a convention registration fee of about $325 for the Savannah activities, Kennedy Space Center tour with lunch, St. Augustine tour with lunch, two car parties and banquet with dancing. Passengers will pay these fees directly to AAPRCO. Full information will be mailed to all who order tickets.

DOVER HARBOR: James L. Larson Florida Special
Washington DC to Savannah and return
November 2-8, 2009

Enjoy the elegant comforts of the classic Pullman, Dover Harbor, for this seven-day, six-night all-private car special train adventure from Washington DC to the AAPRCO Convention at Savannah GA, and return to Washington DC. This week long trip as part of the convention special train offers the experience of first class Pullman travel complete with most meals included while en route. The complete trip package fare is $3,499 per person, including onboard accommodations in Savannah; for those unable to take the entire trip, shorter segments are also be available. CINCINNATI RAILWAY COMPANY: James L. Larson Florida Special

October 29- November 12, 2009

Join the Cincinnati Railway Company as two of our private luxury rail cars travel to Savannah, Ga. for the 2009 AAPRCO convention. Our trip will originate in Cincinnati and travel behind the Amtrak Cardinal to Washington, D.C. where we will meet up with other AAPRCO members and their private rail cars from throughout the United States and Canada. The majority of the trip will be spent on the convention special train (estimated consist of 23 private cars) from Washington to Florida and Savannah, GA. Enjoy luxuries such as fresh meals prepared onboard by our accomplished chef, including full beverage and snack service in the afternoons and evenings following dinner.
