Following is excerpt from several e-mails from Amtrak's Beech Grove shop concerning air brake parts and equipment for sale. Please contact Bill Kolacek directly if you are interested.

  • Paul, I have been given permission to price & sell the air brake equipment. I asked that this material be sold as rebuildable or secondhand. There are several relays B, F & J type. D-22 Service & emergency Portions, Test Plates for testing valves. Even a 4-C test rack for testing Locomotive valves. Decelostat valves B-3 protection & the 3-AP journal mounted decelostat valves & parts. There are also some ABDW valves & pipe brackets. I will try to give you a more detailed list later, but anyone that still has the 3-AP decelostats should be interested. There are several J-type conversion kits to make J.8, J-16, J-1.3-13; you name it it is in there.
